Kylemore Abbey

The oldest of the Irish Benedictine Abbeys with visitor centre, Victorian Walled Gardens, a Neo-gothic church, Mausoleum, Oak plantation and Woodland Walks.

Connemara National Park

A 2000 hectare park and visitor centre incorporating mountains, bogs, wonderful walks and wildlife. Four of the famous Twelve Bens mountain range are found in the park.  There are picnic facilities, nature trails and a summer series of walks and illustrated talks.  

Island trips

Catch the ferry from Cleggan Pier to Inishbofin, a stunning island with white sandy beaches and magnificent scenery (ferry trip takes 30 mins).
