Carrying on the tradition of Nollaig na mBan, Women's Christmas
January 6th is traditionally known as Little Christmas or Women's Christmas and in Irish 'Nollaig na mBan'.
The tradition of Women's Little Christmas is still very strong in Cork and Kerry and is so called because of the Irish men taking on all the household duties for the day (ah bless!) while the women go out to celebrate with female friends and family members.
Fitzgeralds Vienna Woods in Cork have 2 great nights lined up in celebration of Women's Little Christmas.
