As Part of the Adare Weekend of Welcomes, Saturday 29th June sees the Fitzgeralds Storm the Castle which includes a medieval banquet in the historic Desmond Castle.
Enjoy the stunning, rustic setting along the banks of the Maigue River where you will witness the castle come back to life in an exclusive opening of the heritage grounds.Taste the traditional pig-on-a-spit and delicacies of the local area and enjoy music from the Irish Harp Orchestra. Take part in falconry, archery, Irish music, dancing and story-telling. Enjoy a Medieval battle between Lords to woe the Lady of the castle, the comic of the castle jester and lots more.
