HamsandwicH return home to make Hay, Kells, 4th July 2014
30 June 2014
Originating from Kells … one of the most enthralling live acts in recent times, HamsandwicH are well known for their incendiary live performances which has put them right at the top of the live acts to see today.
The Hay Festival Kells is sure to be one performance not to be missed. With the combination of Niamh Farrell's powerful yet sweet vocal and Podge McNamee's juxtaposing baritone the band are given it's signature calling card. If ever there was a band to feed off their audience it is HamsandwicH.
Each show is bona fide celebration with everything from balloons and confetti to their unique crowd interaction on display. The past 12 months have seen them conquering some of Europe's top festivals and headlining a full house at the Olympia in Dublin. 2014 is shaping up to be one hell of year for Hamsandwich with album #3 on the way.
They will be fresh from supporting Arcade Fire in Marlay Park last weekend and assure us of a show stopping performance as ever for their hometown.
